living in the house
The column in the centre of the 12 edged cylinder is parallel to the axis of the earth. The live of the tide keeper turns around this column like the earth around its axis.

The tide keeper enters the house through a glass door in the glazing slit that points south.

stock tank
The tank contains drinking water, solar heated water, waste water, gas and an accumulator for solar power.

Der Tank beinhaltet Trinkwasser, solar erzeugtes Warmwasser, Abwasser, Gas, und einen Akku für Solarstrom.
"bath room"
A small hand basin a toilet and a shower are available.

Das Bad bietet eine Toilette mit Handwaschbecken und eine Dusche.
kitchen
the kitchen consists of a kitchen sink, a gas flame and room to stow dishes and stocks away. The gas flame serves also as additional heating and the stocks can be cooled with solar power.

Die Küche bietet ein Spülbecken, eine Gasflamme, die gleichzeitig auch als Notheizung dient und Stauraum für Geschirr und Speisevorräte, die solar gekühlt gelagert werden können.
"living room"
the "living room" is very minimalistically furnished. There is only a chair and a table. The tide keeper will work, eat and observe from this place.
"Wohnzimmer"
Das sehr minimalistisch eingerichtete "Wohnzimmer" bietet nichts weiter als einen Stuhl und einen Tisch. Dort wird der Gezeitenwächter arbeiten, essen und beobachten.
sleeping level
The tide keeper sleeps on this level on the highest point. He feels sheltered and near to the sky, where he can observe the stars the whole night.
Schlafebene
Der Gezeitenwächter hat seinen Schlafplatz an höchster Stelle. Das verleiht ein geborgenes Gefühl und bringt ihn dem Sternenhimmel näher, den er die ganze Nacht über beobachten kann.
look-out
The centre of the glazed roof can be opened. The opening serves as seat with overview, for ventilation in summer and cleaning of the glazed roof.
